The waves are quality with many breaks varying in size and shape. Long left barrels, short right ledges. Soft small waves and very large powerfull waves. The Lau Group of Fiji are a group of islands that lie to the east of the main island group of Fiji - you will be roughly 100 nautical miles from the main island group exploring a chain of islands the size of the Mentawais in Indonesia. Raw southern ocean swells and Northern Pacific swells hit this area regularly.

The best months for surf are: February through May before the strong trade winds begin
